From African hymns to jazz, funk, and hip-hop, western Black music is a story of struggle and celebration. Guest conductor Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser leads the Kingston Symphony in a program of music by performers and composers of colour. Hear music from icons such as Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, and many more! The whole family will have fun learning about the major contribution they made to music history then and now.
