Born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1956, raised in Scarborough, Ontario, Gowan has won many Canadian musical awards and high praise from critics and his peers over the years. Having multiple platinum and gold recordings, Gowan’s classic hits include, “Criminal Mind”, “Strange Animal” and “Moonlight Desires”.
His musical success continues as lead singer for the band Styx since he joined them in 1999.
