48 North: A New Musical

48 North is a new Canadian musical featuring music and lyrics by Jack Oliver Kotanen and book by Katelyn Luoma. Premiering at the Theatre Kingston Fringe Festival, the show’s first ever staged production is directed by Victoria J Marmulak with Music and Vocal Direction by Serena Ferzli. Four graduates reflect and dream before leaving their Northern hometown. 48 North explores the concept of being raised by a place and the people in it and what it’s like to leave it behind for what’s out there through nostalgia, hope, and brand new folky musical theatre hits.
