"Quartet” is the story of four retired opera singers who refuse to let their golden voices fall silent in this remarkable play about the aging process. Written with humour and compassion “Quartet” is a celebration of life. Beautiful and haunting performances in an up lifting production will move you to both laughter and tears.

Harwood’s “Quartet” is rich, textured, compassionate, and wise. It will inspire anyone in the audience who is prepared to challenge assumptions about aging.

Four of Kingston’s finest actors are at their very best in this warm, and richly funny production. Curtis, Hurley, Bonham, and Cond will make sure that audiences will cheer the conclusion that life is to be lived to the fullest.

Stuart Payne, who for the past thirty years has presented audiences with detailed and richly textured comedies and dramas, as well as some spectacular set and light designs for many of the musicals presented at the Grand Theatre directs  “Quartet”.
