Create your ideal society in a mega-game of collaboration, competition, and potential utopia.

What if we could create our ideal society? What would it look like? How might others answer? Would they recreate the same systems we live in, or dream of newer ones?

Drawing together the forms of theatre and game night, New Societies invites players to address our role as citizens in an ever-changing political landscape but here, you have the power to make the change you want to see.

At tables of up to six players, guests collaborate with or compete against each other in order to build their ideal society. As they socialize and make decisions about their societies, each choice shapes the narrative and influences how all the other guests can play. Filled with humour and levity, New Societies is a playful challenge to reflect on how we operate within our current social structures, while giving players the opportunity to be the catalysts in crafting a better one.

"From joy to fear, anxiety and bonding. It was truly are markable and unique experience... I've never experienced that level of interaction before... I've never seen the audience being so intrinsically integral to the show in a seamless experiential level." -  Alessandra Santos, PhD UBC Professor

"Fantastically complex and well thought out." -  Colin Thomas, Playwright & Theatre Critic
