Awakening

The Conservatory invites the entire Kingston community to come and celebrate as we present our annual gala performance, Awakening.  In a joyful performance full of colour, light, magic, imagination and beauty, join us as we celebrate the awakening of the earth, the blossoming of spirit, and our emergence into the sun from times of slumber and darkness. Awakening is a performance accessible to, and suitable for, all ages. Families will delight to see the entire school share the stage as we return to story-telling with the original ballet, A New Beauty:  The Awakening of Aurora -- a fresh retelling of the beloved classic, Sleeping Beauty, that retains the beloved and familiar Petipa choreography and glorious music by Tchaikovsky.  We invite you to come celebrate the journey of discovery as dancers explore the gifts that reside in the collective power of community, in the world around us, and within each of us.
