The original von Trapp family have performed at the Grand Theatre in downtown Kingston, as kids. They were a singing phenomenom that were popular the world over.

Charles Robertson directs this wonderful family tale that will tug at your heart strings. Anne Marie Mortensen, who directed Les Miserables will produce. Previous musicals by Bottle Tree Productions include Les Miserables, Cats, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Sweeney Todd.

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church is a wonderful environment to do this heart-warming musical about a young nun and the family that adopted her. While it is always shown on television at Christmas time, the live version, seen in the beautiful sanctuary of the church, with its rich acoustics will be a never-to-be-forgotten experience. Over the years, this incredible true story set to music has delighted millions world-wide. Once, denounced by theatre critics as 'too sugary', this musical has been embraced by people looking for family-friendly fare. This Christmas, include the live stage version as one of your favourite things.
