Our festival productions are all original plays by local authors.

"The Circle" Often our lives take unusual and unexpected turns. The Circle examines some unusual twists and how they impact Elizabeth, Philip and Sandra.

"The Stranger" A woman is found asleep in a motel room two Provinces away after being abductedby a complete stranger. Why was she taken? Why was she let go? What's the realStory?

"The Worst Thing You Ever Did" Two quite successful people, a man and a woman in their thirties or forties, suddenly find themselves arrested, withou texplanation, and brought to a prison cell they will share. They don't know each other or why they are there. What's the charge, they demand to know? Their lawyer informs them that each will be accused of the worst thing they ever did and sentenced accordingly. The outcome is devastating.

"Grandpa, Tales of his Grandchildren" is self explanatory.

"Rescues" Angela has just adopted a rescue dog and is struggling to train her. Miss Anderson can't remember her own name. What's the connection? A dog park, love and rescues in many forms. And dogs. Lots of dogs. Who's a good girl? Sit! Wait...come back here!

"Writing Romance" Long-time friends Tess and Carolyn aspire to become famous romance novelists and meet regularly at their favourite café to help each other iron out their story lines. As the ladies exchange ideas their characters seem to be taking on a life of their own!
