Join Cree author and radio journalist Rosanna Deerchild, Lee Maracle, a Salish West Coast author, author and activist Leanne Simpson, a member of the Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg and of Idle No More, and moderator Terri-Lynn Brennan, a member of the Mohawk Nation, as they unpack the issues couched in their work, and talk about the importance of contemporary Indigenous women's literature in knowledge-making and sharing, as a way to reflect upon the relationship between First Nations peoples, the descendants of the Europeans who appropriated their lands, and the recent immigrant arrivals who now populate and share it.
