image-50.pngThrough funding generously provided by the Ontario Arts Council, the City of Kingston is pleased to be hosting The Whole Shebang, a multi-disciplinary collaborative arts project, lead by renowned dance artist Andrea Nann.  Shebang fosters the organic development of novel approaches to artistic expression and collaboration through guided discovery.   Over the past year, Kingston artists have been participating in the Shebang process, and are currently working towards creating collaborative arts presentations that can be showcased at the opening of the Tett Centre in the fall of 2014.

The Shebang process can be used to expand creative horizons and partnerships in many different ways.  As such, we are delighted to offer the community the opportunity to experience a sample of the Shebang process in a Community Workshop.  Please join us for this exciting opportunity on May 30th, from 7:00-8:30 p.m., in the Baby Grand Theatre.  This workshop is free to the public, and will allow participants to discover new ways of approaching their own collaboration, exploration, and creativity.  No experience in the arts is required to attend -- just an open mind!  The workshop will involve movement, but is suitable for all ability/mobility levels.  Attendees should wear comfortable clothes that allow ease of movement, and may choose to bring a personal water bottle, and a towel or yoga mat to sit on for their own comfort.

Space is limited, so interested community members are asked to please register below to ensure that there is sufficient space for all participants.
