Kingston favourite Hellhound Trail bring their signature blend of blues, rock, soul, surf, and roots music to the stage. Known for performances at Ottawa Bluesfest, the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, and as annual favourites at Kingston Bluesfest, the band features Jeff Dunn, Brandon Amey, Logan Morris, and Mat McAllister, joined for this special performance by multi-instrumentalist Sam Coons. Together, this multigenerational group of friends offers a fresh and deeply personal interpretation of Van Morrison's music through expressive musicianship and heartfelt performances.

Using a deck of cards as its central metaphor, the performance explores life's journey through four chapters. Clubs represent youth and growth, Hearts explore love, Spades reflect struggle and loss, and Diamonds symbolize healing and renewal. An a cappella thread of Astral Weeks connects each stage, while a live card game on stage reinforces the idea that life unfolds through chance as much as choice.
