Opening Night Exhibit: One/Un

Located in the Davies Lounge, outside the Baby Grand Theatre, Made In (_______) is a multimedia exhibition inspired by Mani Soleymanlou’s ONE/UN. Told through video, photographs and voice recordings by youth from the Immigrant Services, Kingston Area newcomers group, this exhibition looks at change and identity formation over time and geography. Using the same tools and storytelling devices, Kingston’s newcomer youth share personal narratives that are as diverse as their experiences. Made in (_______) illustrates that the place we are born is not the same as the place we are made.
