Joss Arnott Dance (JAD) are a professional, contemporary dance company based in the North West of England that recently celebrated their 15th anniversary in 2025. JAD want more people to see dance. They understand the power of the arts to influence social mobility and want to give everyone the best arts experience, no matter their background. Their commitment to a ‘not I, but we’ approach means they work hard to design ambitious, exciting, extraordinary, inspirational shows using Arnott’s stunning and dynamic choreography.
Joss Arnott Dance’s most ambitious production to date is the brand-new, cinematic dance and multimedia show Meet the Hatter. Integrating dance, storytelling, original music, digital projection, lighting and animation, this epic production offers a fresh retelling of the iconic Hatter character from Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, but with a twist.
When no one arrives at his tea party, the lonely Hatter uses the power of imagination to create his own magical version of Wonderland, brought to life by breath-taking and immersive multimedia. But what adventures lie ahead and who will he meet along the way?
