Master Class: Ailey II

This master class will be held in the Baby Grand on Thursday, October 23rd from 1:45-3:15 pm.

Come explore Horton technique, the technique that helped build and define the works of the legendary Alvin Ailey and his company. Dancers from Ailey II will lead Kingston’s emerging dancers through class to explore the company’s unique movement styles and choreographic signatures.

-This class is for ages 12 years and older, and is suggested for trained dancers at an Intermediate level or above who are experienced recreational, pre-professional  or professional dancers.

-Space is limited to 20 participants.

-Classes demand physical agility and endurance. Come dressed to move freely in shorts, tights, or sweats. A personally labeled water bottle and/or towel is also suggested.
