Community movers and creators are invited to join renowned dance artist Peggy Baker, as she leads a FLUX session! FLUX is a spontaneous choreography celebrating the poetics of space. Using a simple set of guidelines for moving and stopping, Peggy will set a group of people in motion, creating ever-evolving, constantly recalibrating, gloriously eventful group choreography. FLUX is a fun and fascinating adventure in action and interaction for all ages and abilities. No previous dance experience or training is required!
While this event is free, registration is required. Please register at the link below. Registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please note that space is limited to 20 participants; should the class be fully enrolled, a waiting list will be maintained and registrants will be notified if spaces become available.
Participants should come dressed to move freely in shorts, tights, or sweats. A personally labeled water bottle is also suggested.
Sincere thanks to the City of Kingston and Ontario Dances for presenting this workshop, and to the Kingston School of Dance for hosting it.
