Due to unforeseen circumstances, Burton Cummings and his team have announced that they will be canceling Burton’s upcoming tour, “Burton Cummings & His Band Unplugged: The Hits, like you've never heard them before!”, including the stop at Kingston Grand on October 21.

As a result of this unexpected development, the performance of “Burton Cummings and his band - Unplugged”, has unfortunately been CANCELLED.

Subscribers are asked to contact the box office at their earlier convenience to select an alternative performance from our upcoming season to maintain their subscriber status.  All upcoming performances can be viewed at the bottom of this page:  https://www.kingstongrand.ca/about/resident-companies/grand-onstage  As a subscriber you are required to maintain a minimum of four performances within the 2023/2024 Grand OnStage season.  If you have more than 4 events and wish a credit or refund for your tickets, please let us know. 

If you are not a subscriber, you have the option to also change your performance, accept a credit for a future show, donate the value of your tickets to Grand OnStage or obtain a full refund.

NOTE: We cannot automatically refund cards as to be PCI compliant credit card information is not stored by Kingston Grand Theatre nor our ticketing platform TixHub.

During this unplugged performance, Burton and his band take fans on a journey through his extensive catalogue of songs, including his hit singles and albums with The Guess Who and his solo career.

With over five decades in the music industry, Burton Cummings is a true rock 'n' roll veteran who has remained dedicated to his craft. He knows how to connect with his audience and create a special bond that transcends time, genres, and generations. As a member of multiple halls of fame, Burton is one of the most celebrated rock artists in Canadian history. He has won numerous awards, including Juno Awards, and is the recipient of the Order of Canada, the Order of Manitoba, and the Governor-General’s Performance Arts Award.

Audiences are treated to a night filled with hits that defined a generation, and fans are often seen dancing in the aisles to such classic songs as American Woman, These Eyes, Stand Tall and No Sugar Tonight, to name only a few.
