  • Theatre: Edge of the Woods Theatre presents Ralph + Lina in November; and Why Not Theatre and Surface/Underground presents Late Company comes to the Grand in March.
  • Dance: Bboyizm; ProArteDanza; Moscow Classical Ballet presents The Nutcracker; Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet presents Going Home Star – Truth and Reconciliation; and the Hong Kong Ballet comes in March.
  • For kids: Page Turner Adventures presents A Mixed Up Fairy Tale; Mermaid Theatre presents Goodnight Moon/Runaway Bunny; Childsplay presents the Cat in the Hat; and Windmill Theatre presents Big Bad Wolf.
  • Special events: Cirque Alfonse presents Timber!; Bollywood Masala Orchestra & Dancers of India; and Yamato the Drummers of Japan – “Bakuon” Legend of the Heartbeat in March; and Sing-A-Long-A Grease comes in January.

This year, the Grand Presents introduces My Kingston tickets – reduced-cost tickets to performances for Kingstonians with eligible low incomes.

“We want everyone to be able to enjoy the enriching performances we bring to the Grand,” says Colin Wiginton, the City of Kingston’s cultural director.
