Thanks to the Kingston Frontenac Public Library for setting up a pop-up reading station in the Whig Walk at the Grand Theatre! Take a break and open a book.

Update as of Thursday, February 25:

  • Excavation of main sewer and water lines continues on Princess between Bagot and Montreal. Crews are progressing closer to the intersection of Princess and Montreal, and as a result, the intersection of Princess and Montreal will be closed to vehicular traffic effective Monday Feb. 29 until approximately mid-May. Pedestrian access will remain through the intersection during this closure.
  • Service excavations are for the most part complete on Princess between Montreal and Sydenham. Crews will begin setting up infrastructure for temporary water services in this block shortly. Service excavations are continuing on Princess between Sydenham and Clergy, with that block reduced to one lane of vehicular traffic
