Update as of January 22:

  • Service excavations will be completed on Princess Street between Bagot and Montreal by the end of this week. Starting next week crews will then begin setting up infrastructure for temporary water connections in this block.
  • Service excavations and electrical work will continue in the block of Princess between Montreal and Sydenham. Beginning next week crews will begin to move this work into the block of Princess between Sydenham and Clergy. This block of Princess will remain open to traffic, but will be reduced to a single-lane of through traffic and a single-lane of on-street parking.
  • In the next two weeks crews will begin the pouring of portions of new sidewalk on the south side of Princess Street between Bagot and Montreal.
  • In early February, the intersection of Princess Street and Bagot Street will closed to vehicular traffic to accommodate sewer and water work in the area. The closure is expected to last one week. More details will available on the closure of the intersection in next week’s update.
