Rachel Currie, Evie Han and Mike Sheppard comprise the City of Kingston’s first-ever Community Arts Team, a group of local youth artists dedicated to bringing innovative arts programming to the Kingston community. Working within the Cultural Services Department, The Arts Team is offering high quality programs in music, drama, visual arts, and dance at local museums, parks, organizations, splash-pads and other locales.

Check out all the free programming they are offering all over the city, now through August 31, 2012!

A community project for display until the end of August; our team will work hard to create a picnic space in the old blacksmith’s hut, located in front of the MacLachlan Woodworking Museum.
Fridays until August 31st    

Tails from the Rails        Pump House Steam Museum            Ages 6 and under
Journey across Canada aboard the Sound Express to experience the various soundscapes at each stop. Listen to discover the hidden stories from each region while also creating an artistic project!

Building Structures         MacLachlan Woodworking Museum        Great for all ages!
