He has been heralded as "an absolute sensation", an "aristocrat of the piano" and he is only 16 years old. Piano virtuoso Jan Lisiecki joins the Kingston Symphony to perform Mozart's triumphant Piano Concerto No. 20. Tchaikovsky's emotion-charged Symphony No. 4 and one of Mozart's Overture to the Magic Flute ensure the season is off to an incredible start.

If mixed tapes were still in style, this is the music we would put on a cassette for you. The program opens with Mouret's Fanfare-Rondeau, popularly known as the theme from BBC's Masterpiece Theatre. Kingston Symphony's principal cellist Wolf Tormann performs Haydn's masterful cello concerto. Our mix continues with other great hits including Albinoni’s Adagio, Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, and Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on a Theme by Tallis.
