This one has to go into the believe it or not category! Hollywood legend Mickey Rooney, who is turning 90 on Sept.23, is crossing Canada on a farewell tour and will make a stop at Kingston's Grand Theatre on Wed. Sept.29. Along with his wife Jan Rooney, 2 singers, and a three piece band, he will sing songs, show film clips, and tell tales of his 80+ years in show business. The man who was married to Ava Gardner (and 7 others), co-starred in half a dozen Judy Garland movies, and counted Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor among his close friends, certainly has lots of material to work with.
