In its first week at Canadian country radio, ‘Canadian Girls’ made history with the most radio adds in any one format. The single is only the first from ‘Dirt’, released in April 2012. Recorded in Nashville, Brody’s third full-length release finds him expanding his range as a songwriter and storyteller. Known for a style that is image driven, Brody approaches songwriting with an eye to recreate pictures he sees in his own mind. Autobiographical at times, his songs for the most part blend moments from his own life with images of characters he’s created and people he has encountered.
